The Mead Centre – Newport Pagnell
The Mead Centre is a local community centre in Buckinghamshire. P & W carried out the full design, supply, installation, and commissioning of all electrical services. This also included all data networks, fire alarms & security systems. This was a fantastic project to be part of, working closely with the client it was handed over to programme.
Raleigh House – Bedford
Ryley House is a local innovations centre in Bedford, providing rentable workspace of up-and-coming businesses. P & W carried out the full design, supply, installation, and commissioning of all electrical services. This also included the mechanical controls. This was a fantastic project to be a part of, working closely with a long-standing client.
New Pergola – Private Members Club
This Project saw the undertaking of the electrical installation for a new Pergola at private members club, including decorative lighting, submains distribution, local heating & small power. Due to the nature of the surroundings this project had to be completed with minimal disruption to services and members over a short time scale.
Codicote Primary School
This project consisted of the full electrical installation, working closely with our client. We were able to deliver this project under strict time constraints due to the start of the following school year. The works entailed the installation of all electrical services including life safety systems, data networking & controls.
Spalding Primary School
This project saw the under taking of a new school block consisting of classrooms, kitchens & toilets. This project comprised of the full electrical installation, working closely with our client. We were able to deliver this project within project deadlines. This project entailed, Distribution, Power, Lighting, Life safety systems and Solar PV.
Uppingham School – Classroom & Office refurbishments
This project consisted of the full strip-out of the exist electrical installation consisting of multiple Classrooms & Offices. Working closely with our prestigious client, we were able to deliver this D&B project under strict time constraints due to the start of the following school year. The works entailed the installation of all electrical services including life safety systems, data networking & access controls.
Uppingham School Works
This Project consisted of a full refurbishment of a number of key areas throughout the school consisting of, new shower and toilet facilities, study rooms, communal areas & staffrooms. We were able to deliver this D&B project under strict time constraints. The works entailed the installation of all electrical services including life safety systems, data networking & access controls.
XR Studio, Open University, Milton Keynes
The Open University’s innovative XR Studios project, marking a significant milestone in the advancement of the UK’s largest academic institution. The project involved the comprehensive refurbishment of three underutilised spaces on the ground floor of the Jenny Lee building, transforming them into state-of-the-art studios that aim to integrate cutting-edge augmented reality technologies into the university’s teaching and research framework.
Uppingham Cricket Pavilion
P & W Electrical Ltd has handed over Uppingham Cricket Pavilion, a project which sought to repair and reinvigorate this listed and historically important building for the 21st century. Built in 1923 to the designs or Sir Walter Tapper, the building was recognised and listed as Grade II by Historic England in 2018, who noted it is of a ‘late Arts and Crafts design of considerable architectural merit.

Cummins Loading Bay
This project saw the undertaking of a new Loading Bay. The project comprised of the full electrical installation, working closely with our client. We were able to deliver this project within project deadlines. This project entailed, Distribution, Power, Lighting & Mechanical Power Supplies.
Reading Civic Offices Decarbonisation
This project saw the undertaking of the decarbonisation of Heating, Cooling & Water systems. The project compromised of the full electrical installation, working closely with our client to minimise disruption and down time within a live environment as the plant room was located on the roof. Work entailed, Strip out and making safe of existing services, alterations to existing power and panels to make way for the new plant and layout. The installation of two new 630amp supplies & panel boards, LV Distribution, Containment, Lighting, Small Power & Mechanical power supplies to Four Chillers, Ten Air source heat pumps, Two 160amp Boilers along with various other supplies.
Repair & Returns Centre 2
P & W Electrical were entrusted following the successful completion of the first repair centre with the full D&B Electrical & Mechanical fitout package for a new repair centre for a prestige client. These works consisted of new Submains & Distribution. With the framework & containment all powder coated to client’s request. The main section of works were carried out within 6 weeks to keep within the clients program. This entailed the installation of power busbar & linear lighting to the seven sections of the repair centre consisting of the following Small Power, Containment, Framework, Plant & Machinery Supplies, Lighting, Data, Water, Drainage & Air.
